Make Your Own Dry Shampoo

Dry Shampoo

This is a great way to deodorize and clean your dog’s coat between baths.

1 cup oatmeal
1 cup baking soda
Essential oil of your choice

Put oatmeal and baking soda in a blender, blending well until it’s a fine powder. Sprinkle a few drops of the essential oil into the mixture and shake to distribute it evenly. Apply the powder on your dog’s coat, using your hands to rub it in as well as possible. Avoid their eyes, nose, ears and mouth. Let it sit for 5 to 10 minutes, then brush it out. Use a damp cloth to remove the excess as much as possible.
